Delivery approach
The range of properties in this contract, as well as the varying occupation levels, necessitates careful coordination. Synergize’s blended delivery approach — including 48 in-house operatives, multi-skilled staff and a range of specialist trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electricians, alongside a variety of specialist subcontractors — ensures we provide an efficient and effective service.
In anticipation of Awaab’s Law, we have also mobilised a dedicated service stream to undertake initial treatments and follow-on works, ensuring we keep to all regulatory timescales.
Challenges & solutions
01 Clear communication with residents
Where repairs or damp and mould works take place in occupied properties, we strive to keep residents and service families fully informed. Reminders are sent to residents via automated message, and operatives phone or text families en route, minimising frustration and disruption.
02 First time fix
Operatives use vans with tailored van stock for their trade to support first time fix and avoid time-consuming visits to material suppliers before or during appointments. Van stock usage is analysed regularly, and we work with our material suppliers to continually refine stock for suitability.
03 Maintaining performance
Our Repair Supervisors receive a report every morning containing all data from the previous day, with Power BI used to monitor SLA adherence and provide repairs dashboards. Our process of continual improvement allows us to turn data into actionable changes.
